    Introduction

If you’re looking to get out of the house with your pup this spring break, look no further than Arizona. The state has an abundance of dog-friendly activities that are perfect for a day trip or weekend getaway. Whether you’re traveling with your pup for the first time or are looking to explore new places, here are some dog-friendly day trips we recommend:

    Dog Friendly Places In Arizona

    Why Arizona?

Arizona is a great place to visit any time of year. With its warm climate, it’s perfect for spring break or summer vacation. Arizona also has lots of things to do in the fall and winter, so you can enjoy your trip even if it’s not peak season.

The weather is beautiful during spring break and summer months (May-September). You’ll be able to spend lots of time outdoors hiking or biking through scenic parks like Red Rock State Park near Las Vegas or Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona–both are home to beautiful red rock formations that look like something out of a movie set! If you’re visiting Phoenix with kids who love roller coasters, there are plenty nearby too: Kartchner Caverns State Park has several rides including one called Rattlesnake Mountain Coaster which takes riders through caves at high speeds while they try not to scream too loudly!

Arizona has many great places where families can stay together without breaking their wallets: There are hotels all over town that offer discounts when booking rooms online ahead of time; some even offer free breakfast meals included with stay costs so everyone gets fed no matter what happens during those long days exploring outdoors together as well as nights filled with laughter over dinner (which means less money spent buying snacks later).

    Go to a dog park.

A dog park is a great place to take your dog for some exercise, socialization, and playtime. But you must do your homework before heading to the park.

    • Know where the dog park is located. Do not just show up at any random location that says “Dog Park” on it! Some parks may be off-leash while others require that all dogs remain leashed at all times.
    • Bring along sunscreen and water for yourself as well as poop bags for cleaning up after your pup when they need a potty break during their playtime in the sun! Also, make sure to bring toys or balls so that you can throw them around with other dogs who come into contact with each other at these places too (not all dogs like playing together).
    • If necessary let your dog wear clothes. Dog clothes can provide some level of protection against foxtails, but they are not a foolproof solution. If your dog is prone to overheating in warm weather, consider bringing along a dog shirt for them as well! Our Summer Tee Blue Pink Pastel is comfortable, functional, and fashionable, this plain dog shirt is made with soft cotton in a lovely blue and pink pastel color combination. Best dog shirt for large dogs!

    Take a hike.

Hiking is a great way to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors with your dog. Dogs love being outside, so they’ll be happy to go on hikes with you! If you’re not sure where to go, here are some suggestions:

    • Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area – Located just west of Las Vegas, NV this park has over 17 miles of trails that lead through colorful canyons and rock formations. It’s a popular spot for dogs because it’s so easy to access–there are plenty of parking lots nearby where people can leave their cars while they hike with their pets.
    • Mount Lemmon – This mountain rises nearly 9,000 feet above Tucson and offers incredible views from its summit (which is actually higher than any other peak in Southern Arizona). You’ll need something like an SUV or truck if you want to access it because most vehicles aren’t allowed past mile marker 8 due to heavy snowfall during winter months but don’t worry! There’s still plenty for everyone else who isn’t interested in climbing all those stairs up there; just head down into town instead where there will surely be plenty more things going on during spring break!

    Go to a pet store.

If you’re a dog owner, then you know how much fun it is to visit a pet store. If your dog is like mine, it will go crazy with excitement when they see all of the toys and treats available for purchase.

There are several options for where to go: Petsmart or Petco? I personally prefer going to my local independent pet store because they have more unique products than the big box stores do. However, if you live near one of these two national chains then why not check them out? Just make sure that no matter where you go–whether it be in Arizona or elsewhere–that your pup has been vaccinated against rabies before entering!

There are many ways to explore Arizona with your pup!

Arizona is a great place to take a road trip with your pup! There are many things to do in Arizona, and you can explore this wonderful state with your dog.

Some of the best dog-friendly places in Arizona include:

    • Scottsdale (for shopping)
    • Sedona (for hiking)
    • Tucson (for exploring culture)

    Conclusion

Whether you’re looking for an excuse to get out of the house or just want to spend some quality time with your furry friend, these dog-friendly day trips are perfect. They’re also great if you’re traveling with other people who don’t have dogs in tow! We hope this list inspires you and your pup on some new adventures this spring break.
